The tagging system behind every record
A permanent ID on the asset, a permanent record behind it. NFC tags read through grease, paint, and darkness, work with gloves on, and survive the washdown that destroys printed labels — so the identity of an assembly outlives the tag on it.
How TexTrack tagging works
- Tap, don't aimNFC needs no line of sight. Grease, paint, and low light stop a QR scan and have no effect on a chip read.
- Built for steel and curvesOn-metal tags for fittings, shackles, and bolts. Banded and cable-tie mounts for hose, where adhesive always fails.
- Nothing perishable on the tagThe tag carries an ID and nothing else. Test dates and due dates live in the record, so a tag applied today is still correct in five years.
- Proof of presenceAuthenticating tags produce a value that cannot be copied or replayed — evidence the inspector was physically at the asset.
- Phones you already ownNo dedicated scanners to buy, lose, or charge. Works with heavy gloves in about a second.
- QR where it makes senseClean, flat, high-volume assets can run laser-marked QR instead. Both point at the same record.
